Fall(ing) Rigg
this has been a project of two years so far. Inexplicably drawn to this living graveyard where pines have been felled for timber and to make way for more broadleaf plantations in Cropton Forest, North Yorkshire, I began by taking conventional images. But somehow they started to look like battleground imagery, deserted war theatre scapes, and eventually I moved to ICM to help capture the movement of the life and death struggle that is going on here.
